it's the most wonderful day of the year....

I reread the last blog with amazement. I haven't run since on vacation in Myrtle Beach. No time. Now I know I could "make the time" or "get up earlier" but my stress level only allows 3-4 hours of sleep as it is and I just can see making that any less....

So, let me catch you up on what is going on right now. John accepted a job offer in Arizona to start in October. We couldn't be happier....Madison was not too happy until we told her she *might* get a cell phone to keep in contact with her BFF....Anthony was like he always was and will just go along with the flow. (yea, he is definitely mine). When John called from the airport to tell me his interview went well, I heard the "wh" sound and started selling off my daycare. I have two children left who are actively looking for other care at the moment. I am so excited.

Last night we met with our realtor who basically said she "loved my house but you should change it". :-) I am all on board for that. We have a tub guy coming in Friday to paint our tub...did you know you could do that? You mean to tell me I have been bathing in the ugly yellow tub for 11 years and I didn't have to? You mean I could have had it white so I could actually see all the soap scum that I don't clean the entire time I have lived here??? Yeah, I didn't realize that either. Our painter (who I swear was a little toasted the first time I met him) is coming next week to stand on my roof and just poor the beautiful white "classic and crisp" paint all over. I am kinda thankful he is doing that now since it won't be my house anymore.

Which leads me to why today is the most wonderful day of the year. We are back to school folks! Madison started 4th grade today (gasp) and my baby is in 1st. I, just like 9 years previous, got teary eyed as I walked away from the school BUT what I haven't had in the last 9 years was John calling me an idiot for doing so (thanks honey!)

I am off to de-Montes our house....this should be fun...
