It is now 4:30am and I have been up for the past half hour. Stress is a wonderful thing. Although, pretty soon I will be stress-free and on vacation. Someone please bring me an fruity drink with umbrella. Actually, that isn't true....just bring me my mommy.
This past Friday I was so proud of my kids. We went to the Rail Trail and my kids and I biked 25 miles! That is the longest that my kids have gone!!! It took us 3 hours to complete that. There is a beautiful pond at the half way point that Ant really wanted to throw rocks in but John said we would be late for the appointment that we had. Mad looked at me and said "let's prove Daddy wrong" and we hauled butt home. Although my oldest wanted to quit so bad, she didn't! The boy really didn't have a choice as he is attached to my bike. Hopefully that will change soon but for now, it is good.
It is hot here. I ran on Sun 6.5 miles.....in the heat and humidity. My neighbor stopped to ask if I wanted a ride and let me tell you....his air conditioned truck almost made me want to jump right in. I would have had a tear in my eye at his generosity but I had no tears/saliva/sweat left in my body.
