I just got a new pair of shoes in!!! There is something about getting a package in the mail that is so exciting.....and when it is my running shoes in there....it is doubly exciting. I took them out for a 20 minute run and I planned on running 2 miles....well, I made it home in 20 minutes and 30 seconds!
On the dc front, I had a little 4 year old girl bust into tears today because my son pushed her down. Why you ask? She tried to kiss him and she didn't listen when he asked her not to. When I sat her down to explain to her that she has to listen when someone tells her no in a situation like that, she started sobbing alligator tears about how her other boyfriend broke up with her and she is so sad....I simply told her there are other fish in the ocean that are just waiting for her....in 14 years :-)
Talk about impulse shopping....John just bought himself a new vehicle. His old one was fine and worked wonderfully but we are new car owners....I think I deserve a trip to Target for not saying no. Not to mention that to start our vacation next week, I scheduled him a 60 minute massage....what a great freaking wife I am.
