Madison is very 9 right now. When did it happen that we question everything and listen to no one? holy carp it is going to be a long 7 weeks if that is what I have to deal with on a daily basis!!!
We went and tried out a resturaunt that we saw featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri. It was a pizza joint. It was ok. I was strictly instructed that I was not to order salad. That we came here for a meal and that salad wasn't a meal. So I ordered Rigatoni la Forno (pasta, artichokes, broccoli, cheese, tomatoes) and that white pasta went straight to my ass. Yeah!
What a great little town area though. It had antique shops up the ying yang and a little artsy fartsy. I of course bought my kids marshmallow shooters. They had a blast out in the back yard shooting marshmallows at each other. Oh don't you worry though, my 85 year old husband issued the warning not to do it near each others eyes as you will "lose an eye if you do" and to "make sure you pick them all up, if Frank gets any he will get really sick". Really?
So here I sit with bottle of wine in my hand (or water....read what you may) after I just took my kids out on a bike ride after running a 5k this am. It was actually over a 5k but who is counting. I am really feeling it (although if I keep drinking the wine, I wouldn't be feeling much of anything now would I, no I think not). I have been walking with my neighbor almost every day and I have to tell you....walking is boring. Seriously. I can run the same distance I walk and still have time to eat breakfast and take a shower by the time I get done walking it. Thank God she is fairly interesting to talk to or my A.D.D. would kick in and I would lose it.
Speaking of running, I have a list of races that I am planning on signing up for. They aren't until the end of the "warm" season here (heheh) I will post them when I sign up!
