Another zumba post

I can't remember if I actually have blogged about zumba or if it is one of the million of blog entries that I have made up in my head. Like I said before, I often make up tons of blog ideas and have lots of witty things to say that I think up when I am running or working out and then by the time I get to the computer *WOOSH!* they are gone. I don't feel it is old age either ( DAD! ) I think it is just I have so much crainial activity that some things just get pushed down to the bottom of the list.

Well, if you have talked to me, texted me, chatted with me or been anywhere near me, my exercise A.D.D. has another log on the fire. I absolutely love zumba class. If you are unfamiliar with it it is dance class for adults. It is hip hop, salsa, belly dancing, and contemporary all thrown into an hour class where you just have fun. I am all on board with this one!

The instructor is an older version of how I picture my friends girl in a few years. Like Monica, she has an infectious smile. You just can't help but smile when she is looking at you.

So I am standing near the front being hidden from the mirror by a woman that is clearly older than my mom. That way I don't have to watch myself. In my head I am doing all the same moves as the instructor and I look just like her (or a slightly older and heavier version of her since she doesn't have the "I gave birth to two big headed kids" pooch that I do). Half way through the class after watching the woman in front me popping her hips and gyrating to the music it occurred to me why the instrictor always has a smile on her face.....she gets to watch us all look like morons.

I *SO* can't wait until the next class!
