A.D.D. of hobbies coming through

I have been really interested in grabbing out my sewing machine that I think I know how to use and make something. (I have been popping around to many websites that talk about how easy sewing is and that "anyone can do it")

I have been super excited to start baking again....even if I am not eating it. I have made 3 cheesecakes now and a variety of other things. The next cookout I am going to I am making a two or three level cake complete with fillings...all homemade of course (I have been watching many cooking shows and duh, it is baking, of course I can do that!)

This weekend we are going to a friends house and she is really into crafts and making cards and I know I am going to get inspired to start that up again. (I flitter in and out of this one as needed)

I have been exercising like a mad woman the last couple weeks and feeling great about it. Running, even when it is flipping hot outside, and walking every morning. I walk with my neighbor, Not Sue, and I have to say, I am doing it more for the company than anything. I can't stand walking. Doesn't Not Sue know you can get done quicker if you run? Granted, I am not pushing along a stroller with a pair of 2 year olds in it but still....I actually enjoy it quite alot....although I would like it more if we were running....I think I found a partner here for the Jan running of P.F. Chang. I am totally in and can't wait. When time gets closer, this blog will probably only be about how exciting and exhilarating my runs are!!! Stay tuned.

I had planned on getting the kids bedrooms painted before they get off school but suddenly, I am not interested in finishing the job. We will see if maybe next week we can't find the inspiration to do that and get it done. Only time will tell

A.D.D? possibly. I like to think of it as I am great at many things and just can't decide what I want to do so it is good to have options. Yeah that's it. Off to find a book to read because I really don't feel like doing any of the above mentioned things! Although I am probably going to sit here and download itunes for my headset...

P.S. In case you were wondering....my little hobby hopping (heheh that made me laugh) drives my husband insane. One would think after 15 years of knowing me that he would be used to it by now....but nope....not my fabulous husband....heheheh
